Good, Good, Good
Everything God made is good.

Everything God made is good.
What are some things you think are really, really good? Maybe sunshine? Your favorite food? Being with someone you love? Today we hear God's own review of everything He made. And He has one word for all of it.
God has finished making the world.
Six days of making. Now He looks at it all.
He sees the light. He made that. He sees the sky. He made that. He sees the land and sea. He made all of it. The plants. The sun and moon. The fish and birds. The animals. The people.
God looks at everything. All of it together. And what does He say?
'It is VERY good.'
Not just good. VERY good.
Good, good, good, good, good, GOOD!
Can you say good? GOOD! Say it again. GOOD!
Every beautiful thing you see was made by God. And He called it good.
A puppy. Good! A warm bowl of soup. Good! Your parent's hug. Good! The sound of rain on the roof. Good!
James, who knew Jesus, wrote: 'Every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the lights in the sky.'
Every good thing in your life started with God. Every one.
Prayer
Let's pray. Repeat after me:
Dear God,
Everything you made is good.
Thank you for all
the good things in my life.
We love you!
